Powerful Coalition of 27 Local Democratic Clubs Throws Support Behind Gabriel’s Assembly Bid

ENCINO, CA – Demonstrating the breadth and depth of his grassroots support, today Jesse Gabriel announced that he had secured the highly coveted endorsement of the Democratic Party of the San Fernando Valley (DPSFV) after earning more than two-thirds of the votes cast by local Democrats.

DPSFV joins the Los Angeles County Young Democrats and Democrats for Israel-Los Angeles in backing Gabriel’s bid for the 45th Assembly District.

In a statement released following the endorsement, DPSFV Chair Shanna Ingalsbee declared:

"The Democratic Party of the San Fernando Valley is proud to endorse Jesse Gabriel in Assembly District 45. In this crowded field, Jesse distinguished himself as a leader with a vision of what this district could be. We are excited to work with Jesse to tackle the most significant challenges facing the San Fernando Valley."

Gabriel's decisive victory is the latest in a series of positive developments for his campaign. Just yesterday, Gabriel announced that he has raised over $500,000 for his primary bid – placing him nearly $400,000 ahead of his nearest competitor.

Today's news comes a week after Gabriel rolled out a new digital video ad, "Twice."

Gabriel has been dominating the race for State Assembly District 45 by every measurement, from fundraising to endorsements to grassroots support. Just last week he picked up endorsements from the California Legislative Jewish Caucus, Democrats to Israel - Los Angeles, State Senator Scott Weiner and State Assemblymember Marc Berman.
